In Her Own Words
is a space of vibrant cocktails -
stirred with metaphor,
shaken with truth.
It’s a mess of colour and clarity -
citrus notes,
ripe lines,
thoughts split open like pomegranates
and left to drip.
It’s rainbows tangled with rage,
softness wrapped in steel,
a gallery of guts and grace.
It’s lyrics that land like liquor -
Lemon-bright and biting.
It’s poetry that bruises.
Art that punches.
Lines that don’t ask for permission.
It’s Her story,
Her softness,
Her strength -
